Descriere:Finch, un geniu al informaticii, a creat pentru guvern un sistem capabil să detecteze informații legate de acte de violență sau terorism, înainte ca acestea să aibă loc. Mașinăria separă informația acumulată în două categorii: relevantă și irelevantă. Cu toate astea, Finch realizează că informația irelevantă conduce și ea adesea către omucideri și alte fărădelegi.



Mort în ochii autorităților, fostul agent special al CIA John Reese este contactat de Finch, care își propune să-l includă în echipă. Având ca motivație decepția cauzată de moartea iubitei lui și de ancheta neconcludentă a autorităților, Reese va lupta acum, folosind sistemul creat de Finch, pentru a lupta împotriva criminalilor.
